Lisa Folino

Lisa explores the dream world and alchemy. Many of her works are made using Polaroid materials. She manipulates the Polaroid possitive by hand to create these interesting vintage, old effects. The role of time also is a big part in her work. She blends one photograph to another using the human figure as a still life.

In her work she also invites the viewer to contribute into this dream world fantasy. Many concepts in her work reflect to mine like - aesthetics, fetish, abstract and gaze. Lisa also creates her own filters and effects on her photographs, as I have started to do so recently.
