My practice explores ideas around the abstract, aesthetics, gaze, fetishism and femininity. My work is mainly photographical, but I often experiment with different mediums such as drawing or printmaking. I indulge in my work with various techniques in which I incorporate the use of filters, effects, light, and analogue or digital photography. The process of the photographs is an important aspect for the developing of the outcome as well as the spectator and his gaze. I am interested in the personal connections between the jewellery and the person’s body, the aesthetics of the body and cultural relations of using the jewellery, discovering the qualities of the unusual.
