Felicity Allen

Allen is an artist but also a writer, curator and educator. She mainly works with portraits using watercolour paint. Her practice often reflect on feminism. She teachers art in many schools and has produced many texts and articles.

Her current project involves portraits from a previous project, painted using watercolours and she has combined them with text unlocked from different identities. They are double portraits, one closer and the other a bit further away. There is a difference between the double portraits, as one is the way it is seen by a social group and the other by the artists or a third person.
