Graham Dolphin

Graham's work has a range of media, such as film, drawing, sound and object. His work is based around our perspective of the contemporary, like culture and celebrities, for example how we are attached to them. Also his work can be process based, he would manipulate objects to change context. He manipulated the ready-made such as mass produced magazines and their covers of portraits of celebrities. He destroys these products and creates something new - something unnatural for the viewer. Owning these products suggest intimacy btween the artist and them, showing obssesion and idolization by being something of his. There is a similar concept to my work.
